Since everything is current now, and happy as I am, it jumped quicker on me than i anticipated. I am in precarious position to apply I-485 right away or see it get retrogressed again.
My dilemma is that I am unmarried and want to get married to someone in India, but also take my time selecting my mate.
My question is if I apply for I-485 in july or august, how much time do I have to get married in India and still make my spouse eligible for green card with me.

I am in EB3 with Labor and I-140 approved, I-485 in process, and have EAD/AP. If I switch employers and take up a new role (different from the one GC application is based on), and not file AC21 (because that's not applicable when switching job roles), should I continue to stay mum hoping to not receive a RFE for EVL and get a GC by mail silently someday or request new employer to file a new EB2 perm and preserve the old (2002) priority date?
In case I go with the former, and end up receiving a RFE, can I explain my true status and go for the latter at that point? What are the chances that one will receive an RFE for Employment verification for a case that has been pending for 7 years, and I-485 pending for 3 years?
Any personal experiences and guidance will greatly help me. Thank you!

My law firm applied my EAD/AP/485 on Aug 13th. I got my Receipt Notices for all three.
My question is where does USCIS send the FP Notice and EAD?
Do they send it to my house address or lawyer?

There shouldn't be a problem. There's your DOB, A# and photograph on the card to verify that the person is actually you.

Each application is seperate as each one is for a seperate future job. Filing a new EB2 labor will have no effect on your existing EB3 app.
You should not be getting RFE on new app due to old app being pending.

Notice Date: September 30, 2007

With the new EB2 how much time does it take for Labor to get certified..I am applying in texas region in guess. I am from louisiana -mississippi area. Anyone there from this area ?.

If you go to the USCIS website (www.uscis.gov) you can download the EAD application and the list of documents that you are required to submit. My understanding is that the location where you file your EAD is dependent on the State where you live. The EAd application instructions include information on where to file depending on the State where you live.

Hi!
I need to know when can I fly back to US on my H4 visa(valid till 2011 ).
My husband has joined a new job and his H1 B transfer has been filed .
Do I have to wait for new I 797 or Can I just travel on my old H4 visa and
visa transfer receipt notice .( he is filing the H1 transfer by premium processing ) .
His new employer is suggesting me to reenter on old h4 and before my husband
joins their company .
But for me that will be very soon ( not fulfilling the purpose of my visit ).
Any help is much appreciated.:confused:
