It is not my intention to make anyone feel guilty. Taking you there doesn�t solve my purpose. It is very momentary and there is a sense of regret for both of us, if this happens. Its not a rumor. This is real. Coming to think abt it, he had filed a labor in 2000/2001 time period and had abandoned it when he switched companies. I am wondering if USCIS takes the oldest one an applicant had ever filed.

Something's going on in the Senate....recapture of unused visa is proposed as an amendment to labor and healthcare appopriations bill.....let's see what happens tomorrow...expect that it will be tackled tomorrow!

I called my congressmans office and made them aware of the issue. He is Gary Miller 42nd district of CA.

I dont think I said anywhere in my post that I don't want "someone else to have the equal right to get benefit"...
What I actually said was in fact that everyone (not just some lucky ones) should have the equal right to get fair benefit within the scope of the existing set of rules that USCIS has itself put in place (Honoring PDs etc).
Please read posts carefully before commenting. And I personally usually refrain from giving red dots and comments in the backgroudd (Somehow it just seems a bit cowardly to me..but that's just my personal opinion).
And as far as bas*$%^&d, it was just a way of expression...Haven't you heard the phrase "You lucky bastard"
...although I agree people could percieve some element of frustration in there...and hence the 'no offence' additive in the brackets in my original post.
I would rather be frustrated at USCIS which richly deserves everone's anger/frustration, than at some unknown lucky bas*$%^&d :D
Now please go ahead and give me some greens so I can become eligible for the IV chat feature.... :D

Hi All,
My attorney and company (both) received copy of Approval Notice. One thing I noticed is Priority Date on Approval Notice is my EB3 Priority Date( October 2003 ). I think some kind update (porting) has happened. I have not seen any change in LUD on my I-485. This is just to update all and hope this information may be useful to someone.

My company filed labor application on 13th September 2010 and it was approved on 2nd November 2010. Now getting ready for I-140. I thought I will share this info with the forum

Notice date is different from Receipt date. If your file is delivered on July 2nd then you would get a receipt date of July 2nd even if your information is entered into the system 2 months after the receipt date.

In other words people who filed there application on July 2nd,3rd etc ... and lets say USCIS takes 2 months to receipt those cases.. then after 2 months when the notice is generated won't it have a July 2nd receipt date? for July 2 filers?
